“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”
Acts 2:42
The word “fellowship” is defined as the state of being together or sharing similar interest or experiences. If you study the aforementioned scripture and the definition of fellowship, you can sense the importance of fellowship. God’s vision for the Tree of Life Christian Ministries as described earlier in this book is vital and at the core of fellowship. In order to understand the vision and to carry out the task God has identified for each member of this body, we must become familiar with each other. Without fellowship this cannot be accomplished. Fellowship is a critical entity and must extend beyond our Sunday services and Thursday night Bible studies. It is imperative that we labor together and get to know each other. Every person called to this ministry has an important role to accomplish. The whole cannot function without every part understanding its importance to the whole. Fellowship will help us grow as a body and as individuals in Christ. Following is a list of the various fellowship ministries that you can participate in:
- Men’s Fellowship (“Men of Character”)
- Women’s Fellowship (“Jewels of the Kingdom”)
- Singles Fellowship
- Youth (Girls and Boys) Activities
- Family Activities
