This dynamic, free spirited, fun loving, woman of God exudes grace and compassion. Leading others into the presence of God through worship and operating in her prophetic gift as the Lord leads her, is her passion. Reverend Page is an anointed soloist yielded to God for His purpose and glory to be made manifested in the lives of others, to remove burdens, destroy yolks and set the captives free.
The one hundredth division of Psalms rings in her heart, it reads: Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. (KJV)
Reverend Page began her relationship with Christ at 6 years of age. She is a walking love magnet committed to edifying, uplifting and strengthening others in love while endeavoring to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace. Reverend Page firmly believes “it’s something about praising God that has brought change in her life”. Her characteristics are that of integrity, great faith, diligence, and humility. She thoroughly enjoys the Word of God, spiritual warfare, counseling others, and seeing people reach their full potential in God.
She served in the United States Army Reserves First of the three hundred and twentieth eightieth division training WAC Battalion, as well as a Senior drill Sergeant Instructor/Retention, of Non-Commissioned Officer, where she trained basic training recruits, Drill Sergeants, and a host of Army Reserve soldiers. She is best known in the Washington DC area as a "Future Feature Leader Trainer". After 20 years of service she retired honorably from the United States Army Reserves and went on to continually used by God to impart His Word directly into the lives of many youth and their families through her home daycare center.
In addition to being a minister, she is a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Reverend Page has been married to Elder Louis A. Page for forty one years. They have four children, Imani (deceased), Geneva, Lauren, Joshua, and five grandchildren that they love unconditionally.
To God be all the Glory for the things He has done!
Rev Portia T. Robinson
Ministerial Staff /Trustee / Singles Ministry
Rev. Portia Robinson,
Is a native Washingtonian with one of her earliest recollections being reciting John 11:35 KJV “Jesus Wept” on Sunday morning in front of the congregation at the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. She was later enrolled in Nativity Catholic School, in North West Washington, where at a very young age she quickly developed a fear, respect, adoration and love for God the Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It was during this time that she also developed an affinity for praise & worship with “Alleluia”, sung by School nuns in the cathedral ceiling acoustics of the Catholic Church, being the very the first song she ever loved! Portia is the eldest daughter of Pastors James and Marcia Robinson of the Tree of Life Christian Ministries in Clinton MD, where she serves as a Trustee, Bible Study Teacher, and is a active member of the Singles, Hospitality, Intercession, Women's and Evangelism Ministries. She displays incredible biblical insight as an astute student and capable student in the Word of God.
In addition to the love for her family, Portia has great love for animals and her eclectic interests include, but are not limited to: home improvements, music, sewing, skiing, bowling; reading, and now writing. While Portia has a fondness for many scriptures, a few of her favorites are: Psalms 51:10 KJV, Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV, Matthew 5:8 KJV, Luke 6:31 KJV And of course…John 11:35 KJV - “Jesus Wept”. .It is truly Rev. Portia’s desire to live her life as if it were GOLDEN…..seeing life as through the eyes of a child…without preconceived notion, fear, reservation or judgment, but rather totally believing, trusting and depending on God...with an amazing curiosity, with purity, innocence and an incorruptible, unblemished willingness to LOVE unconditionally. Portia’s motto: Stay Gold…Be Blessed!
Rev. Vernon Armstead
Ministerial Staff / Men's Fellowship
Rev. Armstead was born in South East Washington, D.C. and came to God at the early age of 11, where he attended Fort Dupont Park Seventh Day Adventist Church. Like most he drifted away from the church and his early commitment to God and experienced the pain of being outside of Gods will. Like Jesus he learned obedience through the things he suffered (Heb 5:8). In his adult years, he re-established his connection with God through attending Miracle Temple Non-Denominational Church in the 14 years he was there he recommitted his life to Christ and absolutely nothing has been the same. He pursued and obtained his master’s Plumbing License in the State of Maryland and Virginia where he is currently the proud owner of Vernon’s Plumbing and Heating. Rev. Armstead’s spiritual life reflects in all that he does. In 2014, God transitioned Rev. Armstead to the Tree of Life Christian Ministries under the Leadership of Pastor James Robinson. He almost immediately put his hands to the plow and currently heads the Security Department, leads the ever expanding Prison Ministries at Oak Hill Juvenile Detention Center. Rev. Armstead is supported by his lovely wife and has three daughters, one son, and four grandchildren. His motto is all I know to do, is give thanks and praise His Holy Name!!!!

Rev. Robyn White
Church Administrator/ Ministerial Staff
Rev. Robyn White was born in Emporia, VA, where she lived until the age of 10, at which time her family moved to New York. Rev. White moved from New York and her family to begin her life’s journey, which has taken her along many twists and turns. She currently lives in Waldorf, MD, with her daughter Rickee and son Erik.
In November of 1996, Rev. White found herself at an intersection along her life’s path, not knowing her destination nor the direction to take. It was at this time that she was invited to the Tree of Life Christian Ministries and introduced to a Man named Jesus who not only saved her but gave her a new life with purpose and direction. He has touched a portion within her that she did not know existed and now what exists inside her is more precious than anything on the outside. He is more than a Savior, more than a Comforter, more than a friend. He is her life. Without Him there would be no reason to live.
Under the leadership and tutelage of Pastors James and Marcia Robinson and the Ministerial staff at the Tree Of Life Christian Ministries, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Rev. White has grown in her relationship and commitment with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Son of the Most High God. She is the Church Administrator, a teacher in the Education Department of the Tree Of Life Christian Ministries ministering in the Youth Department and Family Life Ministries Bible Study. Rev. White also serves in several other capacities. Pastor James Robinson ordained her a Minister of the Gospel in January 2004. She is purposed to reach within others in order to touch and engage that inner portion (the spirit which is created in God’s image) and empower the spirit in others as it has been empowered in her to overcome this world and stretch towards the path that will lead us all home. Rev. White dies daily to fulfill her commission and is committed to the One who loved her so much that He died for her.
