Rev. Trenita Thomas

Ministerial Staff / Intercessor

Rev. Thomas

Was born and raised in Washington D.C. and although she was raised in the church, she did not accept and receive Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior until the age of 32.  Since that time she has gone on to serve the Lord in many capacities, ministering through song, teaching/singing/praying at various nursing homes throughout the DMV as well as a Women’s shelter in D.C.  In addition, Rev. Trenita also served as Founder of a Women’s group called S.W.A.G. which stands for Sister’s with a Glow- which was established in September 2011. The group has been instrumental in bringing about healing for Women, married and single alike. To God be the Glory!  Part of the mission statement reads “Sisters helping Sisters grow in grace, love, and the knowledge of Christ”.

Rev. Trenita was ordained a Minister of the gospel by Pastors Robinson in October 2014 and is often called upon to exhort, and minister on Sunday morning and to teach on Thursday night Bible Studies. A powerful presence and instrument in the hands of God, she is currently serving as a teacher for the New Members/Spiritual Gifts Class, and is a member of the Ministerial and Intercessory staff. She has one adult daughter-Tynisha Pope and one granddaughter Natalia Pope, and is on a single journey with the Lord at this time which she has found to be extremely rewarding, dedicating this time to falling more in love with Jesus, basking in the SON-shine! Having been redeemed from the hand of the enemy, Trenita takes every opportunity she can to SAY SO!
